Controlled production

The professionals at Ferré i Catasús take special care of the vineyards, the vines and their environment, the process and our aim is to have a 100% organic production.

AREACharacteristics

The vines in the Penedès ripen in the heart of the Catalan pre-coastal depression, between the pre-coastal mountain range and the small plains of the Mediterranean coast.

AREAThe soil

The soil is rich in phosphorus and low in potassium. It is an irregular terrain, with small hills from the coast to the mountain of Montserrat, with small valleys of the different rivers. In the lower areas, sandy soils predominate, and in the higher areas, calcareous soils and clay.
